[#DIV28SUPER] T32 Postdoc Opportunity in Alcohol/HIV Research at the University of Florida

The University of Florida is seeking applicants for an NIH/NIAAA T32 pre and postdoctoral training program., co-led by Drs. Cook, Leeman, and Lucero in the Colleges of Public Health and Health Professions, Health and Human Performance, and Nursing. Fellows will receive training from a faculty mentor in either the Department of Epidemiology, Nursing, Health Education and Behavior, or Clinical and Health Psychology. Fellows will collaborate on faculty mentors ongoing research projects, develop their own project and participate in a professional development program. SHARC professional development program provides research training in writing papers, grants, presentations, workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities. We are interested in applicants specializing in one of three areas related to Alcohol and HIV:  Health Behavior Intervention, Epidemiology and Data Science, and Cognitive Science and the Brain. 

 

  • Funding includes an annual stipend, plus additional funding to support research/ travel expenses, and health insurance for up to 2 years.

Babette Brumback, Xinguang Chen, JeeWon Cheong, Ron Cohen, Linda Cottler, Nicole Ennis (Whitehead), Anna McDaniel, Sara Jo Nixon, Eric Porges, Catherine Price, Mattia Prosperi, Marco Salemi, Jalie Tucker, Diana Wilkie and Adam Woods.

 

Eligibility: 

U.S. citizen or permanent resident and support from a core faculty member.

Predoctoral applicants must be admitted to a PHD program in one of our departments.

Postdoctoral applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent
