Centre College invites applications for a two-year visiting assistant professor of Behavioral Neuroscience, to begin August, 2020. Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment and be qualified to teach Introduction to Psychology, Physiological Psychology, and Advanced Research Methods. Candidates with expertise in areas related to Cellular Neuroscience are especially encouraged to apply, but any specialization in neuroscience will be considered. The successful candidate must be committed to excellent teaching in a liberal-arts setting, and evidence of research and scholarly productivity is desirable.

The Behavioral Neuroscience Program (BNS) consists of 4 full time faculty who share responsibilities teaching courses in both the BNS and Psychology Programs, and maintain active research involving both animal and human models.
