Dear Colleagues, As you know, starting in 2007, SAMHSA created the Science and Service Awards as a national program to recognize community-based organizations and coalitions for exemplary implementation of evidence-based services. The deadline for applications is quickly approaching and given your contact with a range of groups using one or more EBP's, we would like to ask for your help in sharing this opportunity with your community colleagues. The deadline for applications is APRIL 9, 2010. Thank you to those of you who have already shared this with others. If we have not contacted you yet, please send the attached announcement/application to your community colleagues who are making good use of EBPS and encourage them to apply for this Award. Eligibility Criteria The organization and/or coalition implementing the evidence-based intervention should be able to demonstrate positive outcomes from the intervention in at least one of the five award categories.
