The University of Kansas is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to support day-to-day research project operations of an NIH-funded, Stage-II randomized controlled trial that is being conducted in Baltimore, Maryland. The project examines the effect of computerized working memory training on executive function, decision-making, and associated health outcomes in low-income individuals in underserved areas of Baltimore. Responsibilities include tasks associated with project coordination and oversight, including activities that support recruitment, screening and enrollment, data collection and analysis, and preparation of written reports.
The selected postdoctoral researcher will have the opportunity to participate in scholarly and professional development activities, including opportunities to author research manuscripts, prepare applications for extramural research funding, and manage personnel. The candidate must live or be willing to relocate to the Baltimore, MD area.
This position is contingent upon available funding with a limited term end date of 5/30/2023, but may be extended. The successful candidate must have appropriate authorization to work in the U.S. before employment begins.
