[#DIV28SUPER] Stimulant-Opioid Co-Use Special Issue Call

Hello colleagues,

 

Please consider submitting to the upcoming Frontiers in Psychiatry special collection on opioid and stimulant co-use. This collections aim is to curate a translational body of work that covers preclinical and human clinical evidence of stimulant-opioid interactions, summarizes known challenges regarding treatment, and outlines morbidity and mortality. The goal is to bring this issue to the forefront early to help mobilize researchers and clinicians based on information in this collection.

Potential topics could include:

• Electrophysiological evidence 
• Preclinical animal behavioral evidence
• Evidence of human co-use patterns
• Commentary outlining challenges for treatment
• Examples of co-treatments
• Epidemiological discussion of morbidity and mortality
• Epidemiological presentation of co-use patterns and changes over time 

 

Preliminary abstracts are due by June 29th, 2021 and Submissions are due by September 29th, 2021. If you would like to learn more and contribute visit:
