[#DIV28SUPER] Research Technician Position, University of Wisconsin-Madison


The Addiction Research Center at University of Wisconsin-Madison is hiring a full-time research specialist to work on our R01-funded mHealth risk prediction study for opioid use disorder. 

This position is ideal for someone who:
  • Wants to gain research experience before applying to clinical psychology or related PhD programs in the next few years
  • Has strong R programming skills or wants to develop them (with support!)
  • Is interested in conducting research related to and learning about substance use disorders, machine learning, risk prediction, mHealth, and passive sensing
Primary responsibilities/opportunities include:
  • Remote data collection from participants in opioid medication-assisted treatment programs
  • Day-to-day operational infrastructure related to the research study
  • Professional development (e.g., attending and participating in lab meetings to discuss academic research)
