[#DIV28SUPER] Call for Papers and Columnists

Hi all,

I'm a new member of Division 28 and wanted to share the Call for papers and Columnist search embedded below. I thought some on this listserv might be a good fit. Full disclosure and fyi, I do not receive any benefit from this publication, but I do know the publishers, and know this to be an excellent and outstanding resource. It might be a great opportunity for those interested.

Regards,
Blaine

Here's the Call:

TreatmentMagazine.com is looking for an addiction counseling expert to write a biweekly column, 500 words each, alternating between individual and family addiction-support topics. The goal is to regularly offer individuals and families: wisdom, inspiration, support, fighting-addiction insights, new research context, and general advice on any and all issues around going through addiction treatment.

This column could be an ideal platform to showcase your addiction expertise and build an addiction-topics audience, and possibly even provide the structure to publish a future book.

In addition to the columns, TreatmentMagazine.com is also looking for articles and papers relating to addiction, recovery, treatment, and related mental health subjects. These papers will be posted on the site either in a "for clinicians" dropdown available to all site visitors or in a "gated", clinicians only, section of the website which will be determined based on the nature of topics submitted.

TreatmentMagazine.coma longtime leader in addiction and treatment journalism, is re-launching online in July after more than a decade of publishing in print and online as a b2b magazine. TM's mission is to be the forward-looking, expert source of news and information on addiction and treatment in the U.S. The website's trusted, high quality journalism, resources and Find a Treatment Center tool will provide information, support, community and stories of inspiration for those who seek treatment, want to help a loved one, work in the treatment field, or simply want to stay up on the latest news in addiction care and solutions.

Their website is set to relaunch in July and is currently set to a landing page for newsletter sign up. Candidates interested in contributing columns or scholarly papers should contact the Editor Kim Caviness via email at: kim@treatmentmagazine.com. She also will be able to provide further information about the site and online publication should you be interested.
