On behalf of the Planning Committee, I am excited to announce that the next annual Collaborative Perspectives on Addiction (CPA) meeting, hosted by the Society of Addiction Psychology (SoAP, APA Division 50), has been set for March 15-17, 2018 and will take place at the Le Meridien Hotel in Tampa, Florida.
TWO NOTES:
1. Please note that we have changed the structure of CPA from a 2-day (Friday-Saturday) structure to a 3-day structure. We will begin early afternoon on Thursday the 15th and go until early afternoon on Saturday the 17th.
2. Before the main meeting starts in the early afternoon of the 15th, we will be holding 3 half-day, pre-conference seminars on the morning of the 15th. We have secured two but have room for one more. The ideal session will aim to teach a clinical and/or research skill to attendees. There will be an additional charge beyond the registration fee for attendees to take part in this session, which would be divided between CPA and the session leader(s). If you are interested, please contact CPA co-chairs Jen Merrill (jennifer_merrill@brown.edu) or Ali Yurasek (a.yurasek@ufl.edu).
