Call for Presentations by funded NIDA and NIAAA Early Stage and New Investigators to Present at 2017 NIDA-NIAAA Frontiers in Addiction Research Mini-Convention; “The Sciences of Astrocytes, Stress Response, and Translational Research on Friday, November 10 in Washington, DC., Satellite to Society for Neuroscience Meeting.

 

Funded NIDA and NIAAA Early Stage ESI and New Investigators are urge to submit papers for oral presentation Early Career Investigator Showcase [ECIS] session of the 2017 NIDA-NIAAA Frontiers in Addiction Research Mini-Convention; The Sciences of Astrocytes, Stress Response, and Translational Research.

 

Investigators whose papers are selected for presentation at the ECIS will be provided with a travel award to attend the meeting. Individuals selected for ECIS will be chosen for the quality of their research, its impact in the field, and its relevance to the mission of NIDA or NIAAA. Preference will be given to presentations that address a scientific session of the 2017 Mini-Convention.

 

The ECIS application form can be obtained from the Mini-Convention website: https://apps1.seiservices.com/nida-niaaa/frontiers2017/ECIS.aspx.  Applications are due by 28 July 2017.
