I would like to echo Marilyn's laudatory comments!  It has been very interesting to see the reports and feel connected to the Division during the convention, if only from afar!

Hi Bill,

I wasn't able to make it to APA this year, but I have been SO impressed with all the good work you have done.  It was great to get the daily program highlights and see what interesting topics people are presenting.  You have done a amazing job.  Thanks to Matt Weaver this year for getting together such a strong program.  Great work, and I know it took a lot of time and commitment from both of you and the Board.

Best,

Marilyn

Dear Division 28 Colleagues-
The third day of convention was pretty full. In particular, we had THREE great sessions scheduled between 10 A.M. and noon--it's tough to avoid conflicting session timing with the restricted time we have to schedule on Saturday of convention. I did make it to all three sessions and saw some really outstanding science in each.
We then had our poster session, which was very well attended. In fact, pretty much all of our sessions have been well attended this year, so thanks to those of you who were able to make it to Toronto and see or be part of this year's program!
We've only got one session today, Topics in Psychopharmacology and Substance Abuse at 10 AM in Room 201F. If you're still in town, please come see this session. I'm sure the three talks will be great.
In closing, I want to thank Matt Weaver for his hard, thoughtful work putting together an extraordinary program. I also want to thank everyone who presented this year. With your help, Division 28 was able to showcase some fascinating, and important, research!
I still have about five months left in my presidency, but I'm so proud and honored to be serving as leader of Division 28 this year. Convention is our biggest event and I'm happy to say we were VERY successful in putting on a truly special program.
Safe travels!
-Bill.
