[DIV28SUPER] Post-doc positions at Univ of Kentucky

All,

We have two slots for Post-Doctoral Fellows.  Trainees will have the opportunity to gain an in depth understanding of the interrelationships of cellular and molecular aspects of receptors and signaling mechanisms involved in the behavioral response to drugs of abuse and to become immersed in drug discovery and development in the pursuit of novel treatments for drug abuse. Also, trainees will receive high quality training in research design, analysis, and laboratory-based drug abuse research and in written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation and grant writing skills.

The deadline to apply for these positions is September 1, 2014.

Please note that only US citizens or permanent residents with green cards are eligible.
NIH reviews the training grant with respect to a demonstration of the ability to recruit excellent trainees who are from demographic groups that are underrepresented in science.

If you have someone or know of someone please have them apply.

Please forward this email to anyone who might or could be interested.

To submit an application for these open Trainee positions, please send the following to me:

1.    A letter from applicant describing their career goals/objectives and how a T32 traineeship in drug abuse related research would further their goals.
2.     An up-to-date curriculum vitae (CV) including presentations and publications.
4.    Their  graduate academic record (unofficial transcript).

Thank you for encouraging qualified candidates to apply.

Linda
