[DIV28SUPER] Post Doctoral Research Position

 

The Program of Excellence in the Addictions has available a Postdoctoral Research Associate position for individuals interested in pursuing a career in substance abuse research. Our program focuses on a wide range of research topics with an emphasis in the areas of alcohol, nicotine, methamphetamine, cocaine, and prescription drug abuse. Specific areas of specialization include: analog studies of substance abuse treatment, clinical trials (pharmacological and behavioral), development and adaption of evidenced based treatments for rural areas, drug use and the criminal justice system, qualitative and quantitative methodology in substance abuse, drug use and health policy, translational and outcome research. Training activities may vary widely among postdoctoral fellows reflecting different levels of expertise and experience in drug abuse research methods, and specific areas of interest. In close collaboration with research mentors, the selected individual will be responsible for developing his or her own research experience in ways which will promote professional development and career goals. The candidate must have a Ph.D in experimental or clinical psychology, nursing or related field. Open only to citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Salary is $3,114.00 per month.
