Hello Everyone...As you see from the attached flyer, the Education and Public Interest Government Relations Offices will be conducting an advocacy training workshop, followed by Congressional visits, in conjunction with this year's APA convention on Thursday, August 4th (9:00 am-4:00 pm).  The workshop is being offered through the APA CE office and will cost: $75 for APA members; $100 for non-members -- with breakfast and lunch provided as part of the enrollment fee.
  
We wanted to alert you to this special training opportunity in case you, your colleagues and/or graduate students might have an interest in participating.  Note: Enrollment is limited and opens on April 15th.  In the meantime, interested individuals can contact Ben Vonachen in the Public Interest Government Relations Office for further information (Phone: 202-336-6097; Email: bvonachen@apa.org).
