Symposia proposals are due Sept 21, 2018, and poster submissions are due Nov 1, 2018.

Visit the CPA website (http://addictionpsychology.org/cpa) for more information, to submit proposals, to register, and to reserve your room at the Hotel Providence. As a reminder, our conference room rate of $209 is outstanding, about half of what these rooms are going for online, but supply is limited so reserve soon.

The 2019 Collaborative Perspectives on Addiction Meeting will feature two keynote talks from Drs. Rajita Sinha and Felipe Castro, three pre-conference workshops, symposium sessions, panels, poster presentations, and numerous opportunities for networking during breaks, social hours, and meals.  The theme for this year's event is "Addictive Behaviors across Diverse Populations: Innovations in Science and Practice" We recognize that the inclusion of persons from diverse backgrounds defined in the broadest sense is critically important to understanding the social and contextual factors contributing to addictive behaviors across the lifespan. The sessions at CPA 2019 will consider diversity-related factors in the etiology and treatment of addiction through presentations that include current, cutting-edge research and clinical practice.
