The Spectrum Health Healthcare System in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is looking for a psychologist to join our team as the Clinical Director for the Spectrum Health Addiction Rehabilitation Program (SHARP). This is a fantastic opportunity for both program development and clinical practice, in one of the most pleasant working environments I have ever experienced. In addition to clinical and administrative duties, clinical supervision opportunities will be available with SHARP clinical staff and with Spectrum Health's new psychology predoctoral internship program. Some opportunities will also exist for research and scholarly presentations. Competitive applicants will be ABPP board-certified or board-eligible, and follow evidence-based practice guidelines. Postdoctoral training in evidence-based addictions treatment, or certification via APAPO's Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Alcohol and Other Psychoactive Substance Use Disorders, is also preferred.
The position is administratively housed within the Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Division of Spectrum's Primary Health Department(http://www.shmg.org/psychiatry-behavioral-medicine). Salaries for Spectrum psychologists are the best in the region, and will be based partly on experience, credentials, and value.
