Under the commission of Mark Greenwald, the current president of APA Division 28 (Psychopharmacology and Substance Abuse), we have formed a focus group of minority and foreign-born researchers who will work together to develop recommendations for ways the Division can encourage, support and provide assistance to minority and foreign-born researchers.
We have currently developed a questionnaire to identify which direction to proceed with the focus group. The questionnaire is targeting not only minority and foreign-born researchers but also those who have worked with minority and foreign-born mentors and students. If you have such experiences and would like to contribute your experiences by filling out the questionnaire, please go to the following link and fill out the questionnaire according to the instruction. The whole process takes no more than 10 minutes. Your responses will be completely anonymous and will not be connected to your identity in any way.
