[#DIV28SUPER] New Mentorship Program

Do you identify as an underrepresented minority? Are you looking for additional professional mentorship on topics like career development, manuscript development, grant writing, or navigating the academy?

In collaboration with Divisions 12, 45, and 50, Division 28 is launching a system of mentoring for underrepresented trainees. The mentorship framework is intended to formalize mentorship for underrepresented individuals so as to increase their representation in the field of psychology.

Through this framework, underrepresented students or ECRs can reach out for mentorship on anything from a manuscript or grant application, career stage advice or assistance (such as applying to graduate school or internship), or for more general short-term or long-term mentoring. Similar to the peer review process, we will then send out a mentoring request to academics within our mentoring database.

Check out our website to learn more, to sign up as a mentor, or to submit a mentorship request!
