The School of Psychology at The University of Southern Mississippi is seeking to fill the School Director (Department Chair) position beginning July, 2020. The School of Psychology has approximately 600 undergraduate majors and 125 graduate students across three APA-accredited doctoral programs (Counseling, Clinical, & School), a Brain and Behavior doctoral program and a Master’s program in Counseling Psychology. Applicants for the School Director position should meet expectations for tenure and promotion to Full Professor at or within two years of hiring, possess research and external funding experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication and collaboration skills as well as administrative experience.
