POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE - YALE UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF MEDICINE: Department of Psychiatry at Yale University School of Medicine, Division of Addictions in New Haven, CT seeks a motivated psychologist for a postdoctoral associate position on a NIDA R01 research project available by August, 2015. The project involves development and evaluation of automated, CBT-based, substance abuse treatments for individuals with opioid use disorder.  Additional opportunities for research in substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, chronic pain, and health services delivery are available.

 

Applicants should have a PhD with training in behavioral interventions and substance abuse and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. The successful candidate should have experience with clinical trials, data management and statistical experience, a strong interest in multidisciplinary research, and able to work effectively independently and in collaboration with a team. The position will involve close collaboration with the investigators and research team in all phases of research: conceptualization of new projects, grant writing, implementation of trials, data collection, management and analysis, writing up results, and presenting findings.
