The ADHERE: Addiction and Health Research Lab in the Department of Psychiatry at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth http://geiselmed.dartmouth.edu/adhere/ currently has a new position open to coordinate adolescent studies directed by Drs. Catherine Stanger and Alan Budney. These studies involve research on the development and evaluation of psychosocial treatments for adolescents. Currently, we have two active NIH funded clinical trials testing family based contingency management interventions for adolescent marijuana users and adolescents with type 1 diabetes, and both trials include working memory training (www.cogmed.com). We are looking for an experienced research coordinator to join our team that includes postdoctoral fellows, bachelor’s level staff, and undergraduate volunteers.
The Project Coordinator will manage several projects, training and supervising bachelor’s level staff in conducting clinical research interviews and assessments, preparing NIH progress reports and IRB submissions, and overseeing recruitment, data collection, and data entry.
Master’s degree preferred, with a at least two years of research coordinator experience in human subjects research in substance use, mental health, or a related field. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and strong data base skills, and have great interpersonal and communication skills.
