Tenure track position at Kansas State University:

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR IN BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE. The Department of Psychology at Kansas State University expects to fill a tenure-track position at either the assistant or advanced assistant professor level in the Department's Behavioral Neuroscience area to begin August 2013. The Behavioral Neuroscience area is part of a research-based Ph.D.-granting department in which faculty members conduct research, supervise graduate students, and teach two courses (graduate and/or undergraduate) each semester. A strong record of publication, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and the ability to develop a funded research program are required. We are seeking candidates who can collaborate with current faculty's research interests and are able to fulfill the Department's teaching needs in Behavioral Neuroscience and related areas. The successful candidate should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and mentoring of students and to serving a diverse population. A doctoral degree in Psychology or a neuroscience-related field is required prior to the time of appointment. Postdoctoral experience is desirable.
