"Diversifying Clinical Psychology" is an opportunity for outstanding undergraduates from underrepresented groups who are interested in getting a Ph.D. in clinical psychology to meet informally with Directors from Clinical Ph.D. programs from across the nation. Held as part of the annual meeting of the Council of University Directors of Clinical Psychology(CUDCP), this one-day event will provide students the opportunity to bring poster presentations, publications and/or their Curriculum Vitae, get specific information about various programs, and establish personal connections with leading scholars in clinical psychology. African American, American Indian, Asian American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander students are especially encouraged to apply. In years past the event was quite successful. Students will meet with the event coordinator, Dr. Emilio Ulloa, the morning prior to the event for two separate professional workshops including information about the format and expectations for the event. The event begins with an informal student poster session and is followed by one-on-one meetings with the university DCTs.
